Gorditas de chicharron are champions of Mexican street food, and at the same time centennial traditional Sunday market tastes. Gordita means "little fat one" in Spanish.

A gordita de chicharron is a thick corn tortilla filled with pork (or potato). It is similar to a pasty and to the Colombian/Venezuelan arepa.

Gorditas are (optionally) accompanied with fresh cheese, onion, lettuce and sauce.
