You may have been wondering why this is the first time there's burritos on the menu. This is because although burritos are one of the most well known examples of Mexican cuisine in the world, in Mexico they are only popular in the northern part of the country.

A burrito consists of a wheat flour tortilla wrapped or folded into a cylindrical shape to completely enclose the filling (in contrast to a taco, which is generally formed by simply folding a tortilla in half around a filling, leaving the semicircular perimeter open). There will be two varieties:

• • Regular: With rice, mole and chicken, plus salad.

  • Veggie. With rice and beans, plus salad.
